RokNavMenu Items Appearing Behind Roktabs Content

Totally stumped on this one and definitely could use your expertise. I updated Joomla to 2.5, Gantry to the latest version as well as the roktabs extension. After the upgrade my menu items appear behind the roktab text; however this only happens when the menu is placed in any header position and if the roktabs is placed in the showcase position. If I place the menu in the drawer it works fine...

I also noticed it is not just the roktabs module but also the search module that this happens with. When the search module is placed in the showcase position and the menu in any header position, the menu items that drop down over the search box are hidden.
Any help would be much appreciated
