    rocketlauncher error

    • I have installed many rockettheme templates with rocketlauncher. When I install camber with the rocketlauncher i get this error:

      Uncaught exception: WideImage_Mapper_JPEG returned an invalid result while saving to /usr/local/pem/vhosts/162817/webspace/httpdocs/whacol/media/rokgallery/d/de87943d-23c2-4af7-f9cd-8389da6bb9c2/0f1a4449-f1c4-41e3-b601-7a8854801323-thumb.jpg

      Please help me what it means

    • Have you checked your permissions for the media/rokgallery/ folder.
      Other than that go into your DB with PhpMyAdmin and delete the referenced file.

      This is a bad setting allows outsiders in :(
      Try folders 755 and files 644.

    • Interesting, I'm having this same problem with the Radiance Joomla 2.5 rocket launch. Right after setup I couldn't bring the main page up. Same error message...tried 777 on just folders, 777 on just files, but the error wouldn't go away until i used 777 against everything under the Rokgallery subfolder.

      This would then indicate Ownership issues on your server account as 777 basically means EVERYBODY :(

    • I experienced the very same problem and messing around with the file and folder permissions didn't seem to be the right solution.

      I fixed the error changing in the hosting php from running as a Apache module to CGI Binary.

      I noticed that when running PHP as an 'Apache Module' files will be attempted to be created/modified as the 'apache' user which probably might cause problems as the files are owned by the ftp user.

      Running PHP as 'CGI' or 'FastCGI' will attempt to create/modify files as the FTP user for that site and hence all problems are gone and no need any more to change file permissions.
