Hi all,
Overnight my access to my administrator panel no longer works. My saved login info just gives me an error. I've gone round with the host provider to no avail. Says it's a joomla script error; of which I have no idea what to do. Also getting 404 error. I can get into my cpanel but from there, I don't want to touch a thing and have no clue anyway.
I"ve been trying to get menus set up in Radiance using modules. I did have module errors before the site went down. I'm still in the learning curve for Joomla and rocket theme. Having difficulty understanding how to get extra menus in place along the sides of content, in addition to the top without using split menu, but Fusion menu. '
Have I damaged my sql database and should replace this? Should I re-install files from yesterday's backup on server? If I replace database does that remove all my work on my site so far?
Lastly, in all of your opinions, do you think Joomla with a rocket template is too difficult for someone who doesn't know anything about website structure, php, sql, java? I was doing pretty well getting this first site up after Kat and Igor helped with my install. But today, I can't get into my site and have no idea what I did wrong. Any help out there today? Thanks, KWilder
If you have access to cPanel or the command line, you could change the admin password directly in the database table or remove it completely so you can login and change it in Joomla admin.
I can't go in to how to do this here - you would be better asking on the Joomla forums.
I suggest in future you create a seconf Super Admin account so you can access Admin even if you cannot access using your main account.
