It is kind of forcing us if our template no longer works because of the updates... either we pay money and update or our template can not longer be updated or formatted...

- Hi again, yes this is not fixed yet because i need to cross-check with other members and their servers to see if it's a bug or a server issue. This takes more time than i originally expected.

I don't know if this helps, but if you just need to upgradeGantry, you don't need a membership for that. All you have to do is download the latest version from the following location, go to your "Extension Manager" in your admin panel and upload the zip file there (backup your website first, just in case something goes wrong).
Go to the following location for the Gantry Downloads page:
www.gantry-framework.org/download#joomla15
Go to the following location for the Joomla! Downloads page (if you need to update Joomla!):
www.joomla.org/download.html
I would update Joomla! first, then check to see if everything is working correctly. If not, update Gantry next. I would think that updating the template would be the last thing you do, since uploading the updated template through the extension manager will remove some of the customization you may have already applied to the template since you initially installed it.
But remember to backup the site (using "Akeeba" or something like that) before you do any updating, just in case the updates unintentionally corrupt something on your website.
It sounds like you may not have done this before, which isn't really that good (to say the least), since Gantry has had at least 20 updates since the beginning of last year and Joomla! has had several updates as well.

I agree with Josh.
Our RT template got hacked, and was down.
It was hacked due to lack of security from the theme.
We built many sites, the RT template was the only one that got hacked, ever.
Now we have to "pay the price" to get "update" which should be free, since the lack of security allows our theme to get hacked.
Sure, RT is not forcing anyone to update, all you need is a site that is down, with a theme that is infested with virus codes, now you HAVE TO PAY to download the UPDATED template you purchase or you don't have a website. No good product does that.
