    • In the Joomla admin have you checked that the Directory permissions are ok?

    • When you view it in the Joomla admin it should be green checkmarks and the text: Writable.

If you check chmod in your FTP client then files should be 644 and folders 755- This is for files and folders that needs to be writable.

If it doesn't work, try 646 and 757.

    • prim - thanks for responding- i changed the permissions via FTP but nothing has changed - as much reading as i have done - in teh Joomla admin under me as Superuser - i have all green checks but the red lock appears to the right of the green check under calculated settings - does this mean it's in conflict with the "parent group" which is "public" and they aren't allowed - so this would be correct.... right? steve - also, can one use Rocket theme extensions on other templates....? thanks - steve
