Slimbox and JCE editor.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to learn how to use JCE editor so I could automatically create slimbox images in my Joomla stories?
I can't seem to figure it out and I am pretty sure I read that it it can be done.

You are right, it is possible to create slimbox popups from within JCE. I can do it with the versatility template.
I use the JCE version 104 and the plugin imagemanager104. I believe that these are downloads that I got from the member section of the JCE developer site.
To get the slimbox to work from JCE you just click on the JCE image icon from the JCE text editor, upload your large image, create a thumbnail, then go to the Pop-up tab and choose to enable, then from the dropdown pick the slimbox/lightbox option. Then click on your image to insert the URL and click to accept that you want to use the previously created thumbnail.

I am also using a versatility template (versatility III).
In my JCE editor I have no "slimbox/lightbox option" in my image manager: pop-up tab. Did you need to add something to the JCE editor to get that to show up?

It was there after I uploaded the image manager plugin for JCE.
JCE Editor Mambot 1.1.4 is the one that gives you the ability to use the slimbox in conjunction with image manager 1.1.3
There is a $15/year fee to access the members only section but it is well worth it!

I was using the old editor.
Yes the new editor is excellent and the extended image manager is worth the membership.
