    BG Sources / Fireworks Editing

    • Yes, I know that by the time you are done reading this some of you will think I am stupid and that is totally fine with me. I am learning still to a certain extent. I am sure there are some things I know how to do that you don't. So, don't be too critical of me please!

      I have been playing around with the totally AWESOME Fresco template. I downloaded the sources and I was going to attempt to create some new BG. Normally when I create something new like this, I just make the image to the defined size, save it and upload it.

      When I opened up the sources for Fresco, I noticed it was using web slices. Now, I think all I need to do is hide the web slice layers and create the images as I would normally, just all on one page. Turn back on the web slices and then save it. Upload, and presto chango things work!

      But I am not 100% positive and just thought I would check with the community to see if I am correct.

    • Thanks Nanci. I thought about putting it in FRESCO, but I don't believe its a FRESCO specific question. I assume RT uses this method of BG Sources for other templates. FRESCO is just the template I happened to be working with when the question came up.
