I have just installed the Ximenia Template. I checked for the W3C XHTML 1.0 / CSS validation before doing the changes on the temp, but I dont get the W3C XHTML 1.0 / CSS valid message. In the result of the XHTML, in fact, they say there are 27 errors and 3 warnings. And in the CSS, apparently plenty more.
In the information given on the list of Features & Screenshots, it says that both W3C XHTML 1.0 and CSS are Valid.

Does anyone know how to fix this, please?
Glad I found this since I was going to ask the same question.
I did find that the major culprit is roksproket.
I demoed other templates that were 100% validated until I added roksproket.
So of course my question is is Rok Sprocket valid?
I'm not exactly sure how things like validation and responsive design are going to work together. I think this might be one of those times where you will have a transition and not everything is going to match up just as you need.
The important thing to do is check and see what the validation errors are for. For instance, missing closing tags are an error that does require fixing whereas something that might be HTML5 that doesn't validate isn't a worry.
If you definitely need old school validation, then I say it's safest to go with older templates and features as starting from now things will be moving forward into responsiveness and all the other new cool things new browsers have to offer.
