Best method for testing site on multiple browsers?

Has anyone used Microsoft's VPC image application for cross browser testing? There are several different downloads depending on what you want to test. I have Vista and in the process of downloading IE6 for XP SP3. The files are fairly large, but IE6 is the smallest. I've never used it so it will be a learning experience. You can find them here:

I get frustrated using browsershots.org because of dialog boxes and pages not loading. I will update when I have tested it.

Well, I found out my Intel Processor does not support hardware virtualization, so I was unable to install Virtual PC 2007.
To find out if your processor is supports hardware virtualization, you can go to the Virtual PC page and there is a link to download the Intel Processor Identification Utility to see if you processor will work with Virtual PC. www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/sup.../configure-bios.aspx
The Intel Processor Identification Utility is pretty cool. I found out my processor is running at only 2/3 the speed it is expect to run. Going to email Dell now!
