Login form disappeared from front page

Hi
Before I installed the colormatic template, I had a use login form on the front page of my site. Now it has disappeared. I've checked in the modules that the login module is still published, but can't see how to get it back.

Hi Andy,
The module you have it currently published in may not be available in the colormatic template. Try publishing the login in another module position.
That should resolve your issue.

Thanks for that. I couldnt make it appear by fiddling with the module it is published in, but finally I tried changing its position from "left" to "right" and it magically reappeared. I can live with it on the right hand side, but I am puzzled why it would not show when its position was set to "left".

You can check the available module places in a template by going to Site - Preview - Inline with positions.
Not all templates have all the module places. - I use simplix, does this mean that I'm a simple guy ?

- That was for the Joomla 1.0.X - it does not appear in Jommla 1.5.X. In J1.5.X, go to Template Manager and then click on Preview on the template menu bar.
