    2 different fusion menu's? -

Posted 12 years 7 months ago
    • Hi I am about to use the template Fracture it looks very nice, and I'm really glad with it.

However I want to splt the website in two main categories. Personal and Business.
I want to do this by having a second main menu, that is a different one for business services.

So once people click "Business" they will be redirected to a page where the other fusion menu comes in place, and when people click on "Personal" again the default menu comes in place again.

So I was thinking to do this the following way:

      - Use the default fracture template, and let this be assigned to every page.
      - Duplicate the template, and use a different menu in the Menu control tab, and assign this template to the business pages (menu items) in my website.

However all I am wondering is: Will this work right? ;) I believe it pretty much does and won't cause any problems. Is there anyone who does disagree with me?

Hi, I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I've succesfully created a second menu (called Override Menu) and put aliases of the Main Menu in it. But now I need to create one page (semi-homepage) on which I need to show that menu. The idea is to have another domain name redirect to that page so that it will seem like I have 2 almost identical websites.

But somehow I can't figure out how to create such a page. Maybe it's because I've been staring at a computer screen too long, but maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place. Can anyone help?

      Thanks a lot in advance!!
