phpbb makes double // in URL before "styles". Getting 404

Hello!
(Excuse my bad English...)
So I'm having this problem because of something with the URL...
I'm using the "Replicant2" theme and I noticed the little "Lion-icons" to the left of the posts was missing.
I right clicked > view background image and my server returned 404 Not found. I soon realised that it was a URL related problem.
The URL looks like this "http://domain/mapname//styles/replicant2_style6/imageset/forum_unread.gif"
Notice the extra "/" that does'nt seem to be right. How can I fix this?
I even tried a fresh installation in "mapname2" but with the same result.

- Are you using the latest version of the style? Can you please post in the correct forum for phpbb3 styles?
