Gantry Presets bad Ownership

Hi,
I am using Graffito {Rocket Launcher] and when I try to change the settings in template presets OR create my own preset I end up with a page that has no css (all white BG and no formatting). I looked ot the folllowing:
cache/Gantry,
cache/GantryAdmin,
cache/GantryLess
I found that when Gantry created them they were created with 'root' ownership. When I had them CHOWN-ed to allow for my changes it still the changes still didn't show up even after clearing every cache button I could find including the browser cache. (chrome).
I went back in to Template Manager and tried to re-save the custom preset I made and Gantre overwrote the three folders in cache back to 'root' ownership.
Any suggestions?

- You will have to change the way your php scripts runs on your server. I would say that you are using mod_php on your server which runs as root user. On the other hand, you should use fastcgi, suphp or any other way that runs under your own user. You will have to contact your hosting support to change that
