    • Hello, I am building a new site based on an old design. One question I have, and could not find on the Joomlapolis forums, is successful export and merge of CB users and all corresponding profile data... I am attempting the process right now through Phpmyadmin, but was also wondering if anyone here knows exactly how to pull it off without blundering a database / site structure. I want to move the old lists, fields, tabs, users, and their profile data, respectively...

      If I pull this off before I get a reply, I'll post the answer here... So far its pretty vague...

    • Solved this one... This works wonderfully...

      1.NEW SITE: BACKUP DATABASE
      2.NEW SITE: Delete tables:
      jos_users
      jos_core_acl_aro
      jos_core_acl_groups_aro_map
      jos_comprofiler
      jos_comprofiler_fields
      jos_comprofiler_field_values
      jos_comprofiler_lists
      jos_comprofiler_views
      jos_comprofiler_tabs
      3. OLD SITE: Syncronize CB & Joomla from CB admin tools
      4. OLD SITE: EXPORT TABLES (AS SQL):
      jos_users
      jos_core_acl_aro
      jos_core_acl_groups_aro_map
      jos_comprofiler
      jos_comprofiler_fields
      jos_comprofiler_field_values
      jos_comprofiler_lists
      jos_comprofiler_views
      jos_comprofiler_tabs

      5. NEW SITE: IMPORT TABLES (same as above)

      Just be sure you sync the JOS and CB data in the old site before you export...through the CB / Tools menu.

    • Ok not wonderfully, but close... That imported the users and the data, however, now I cannot edit the user details within CB. A blank screen comes up with no fields whatsoever... Until I resolve, I just imported the JOS tables referring to users, groups, acl, etc but none of the CB data... I can sync and load them back into CB, however the profile information is lost...

      This is horrid... Can anyone help with this? I have been messing with this SQL crap for 2 days now, I am ahead of where I was, but this is considerably tough for me to figure out...

      Are there any modules that export/import CB data?
