I'm using joomla 2.5.8 with the Momentum template.
When I add images to a custom html module the images load but only briefly and then disappear. I've turned caching off to see if it had an effect and it doesn't.
I've tried deleting the image and recreating the module with no effect. The image size can't be the problem - its only 15.91 KB
Any ideas what the issue is?
heres a link to my site - the bottom module "We Support" on every page is the one I'm having an issue with but the position doesn't make any difference.

I see it in firefox for a brief second then it disappears - the image has the words "tread lightly" in it.
I've dumped both my browsers cache and joomla cache's.

It's something to do with the smartload feature where it only loads images on the page when they become visible within the viewable area.
IN FF it works fine for me all the time, in Chrome, it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't . . . when it doesn't work, it loads the blank.gif (which should then be replaced by your image).
Somewhere you've got a conflict, so initially try disabling a few plugins/components/modules that you've recently added to find the culprit.
