    • Hi Guys I have a similar problem. See below:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 82360 bytes) in /home/bnrref/public_html/libraries/rokcommon/RokCommon/ClassLoader/BasicLoader.php on line 22

Fatal error: Class 'RokCommon_Utils_ArrayHelper' not found in /home/bnrref/public_html/libraries/rokcommon/RokCommon/ClassLoader/MapFinder.php on line 50

      Igor,

We're still getting the error. One of my developers thinks it is the Baidu spider causing it and we're going to block it to see if that fixes it. Any ideas on your end?

    • Was there ever a fix to this? Have started having the same issue.

PHP Fatal error: Cannot call overloaded function for non-object in /var/www/vhosts/XXXXXXXX/httpdocs/libraries/rokcommon/include.php on line 24

PHP Fatal error: Access to undeclared static property: JLoader::$classes in /var/www/vhosts/XXXXXXXX/httpdocs/libraries/loader.php on line 195

running the latest versions of all software. updated all components to the latest version.

Crashing the site, hanging apache and then crashing the server. Any assistance would be great! :cheesy:

    • I am having the same problem as the OP. I am getting the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot call overloaded function for non-object in .../html/libraries/rokcommon/include.php on line 24

The problem (blank white front and back end) happens intermittently.

I also have a couple other errors, not sure if they are related to the problem (they seem to be something else):
PHP Fatal error: Call to protected method JApplicationSite::route() from context '' in .../html/index.php on line 46
      and
PHP Catchable fatal error: Argument 1 passed to JApplicationCms::loadSession() must be an instance of JSession, array given, called in .../html/libraries/joomla/application/web.php on line 214 and defined in .../html/libraries/cms/application/cms.php on line 627

The link that you posted Igor seems to be for a completely different problem, I read through several pages there and couldn't find a solution.

I have manually updated everything on the site and I still have this problem. Has anyone been able to find a solution to this problem?

      Thank you for your help.

      --UPDATE--

I tried everything I could to fix the problem. I decided to scrap the site (running joomla 3.1) and start over with a new install. I used rocketlauncher to install and this time used joomla 2.5. I am having the exact same problem again, exact same error. I contacted my host (nexcess) and have been going back and forth with them. They insist it is a problem with Rokcommon. I have updated everything. It seems to be a consistent problem with Rokcommon, or maybe just the template I am using (Chapelco). I need some assistance with this problem if I am every to consider using rockettheme again.

    • Thanks for the reply DanG,

A few days ago I found a solution to the problem, sort of.

The site I was building was going down for typically two hours a day, it seemed completely random when it would go down and how long it would stay down. I got all sorts of errors that I detailed in the above question. I spent about a month reading forums, and trying everything I read, and communication with the company that was hosting the website (Nexcess) and Nexcess kept blaming rockettheme (specifically the rockcommon modules use of APC).

      The solution:
I simply changed hosting companies. About 5 days ago I started hosting the site with SiteGround and it has been running perfectly since. I don't know if it was completely a problem with Nexcess, or maybe there really is something wrong with rockcommon and Nexcess was blocking it for security reasons (that was their claim). I do know that it has been working perfectly since I switched hosts though. The site that I have up and working now is the joomla 2.5.X and I only have about a third of the pre-installed modules still installed (I do still have rockcommon installed and it isn't causing a problem with the new host). I also tried copying the site over to a hosting account I have with 1&1 and it seemed to work fine there also, but I didn't leave it up there long enough to really test it. Hopefully that information helps someone else who may be having the same problem.
