I've been working with the Clarion template since it came out and have kept it up to date and have also kept Gantry up to date. Three days ago I made some changes to the mobile version and the module assignments and now have got a problem. It seems that user agent detection no longer works. I will either get the full version of the site on desktop and iPhone or I will get the mobile version on both platforms. Thinking it might be a cache issue I've logged into remote machines and have tried from there with the same results.
I like both versions of the site as they are if only they would display on the appropriate devices.
I did post to the Clarion sub-forum but there's not much activity there and I've been banging my head on this for 3 days now.
Without a link to page where the problem is on your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.
Can you please post a link to the problem and we will do our best to assist you.
Thanks

It's very strange. The version of the site getting delivered bounces between the mobile and the full version. I sometimes think that it depends on which device I request it on. For example, this morning I made a point of requesting it on my iPhone first and I got the iPhone version. Of course I got the iPhone version on my desktop as well.
I had the "Optimize Website" service turned on at the server so I turned that off. I also make a point of setting the user agent of the browser to a desktop version so I know that that is being requested.
I hope I'm not speaking too soon but there seems to have been an improvement since turning off the server compression. I am getting the correct version on the correct device. I have an iPhone 5 but I'm not getting the correct version on iPhone emulators for the iPhone 4.
It seems that disabling the server feature of "Optimize Website" in the cPanel has fixed this. I'm going to turn it back on to test. I'll post the results.
