Control panel hosed

    • For months my site has been chugging along great without any issues. Now yesterday all of a sudden when I log in to my Admin, I get this message instead of a control panel:

500 - An error has occurred.
      Error writing file '/tmp/MYNbGMZU' (Errcode: 28) SQL=SELECT a.id, a.title, a.checked_out, a.checked_out_time, a.created, a.hits,l.title AS language_title,uc.name AS editor,ag.title AS access_level,c.title AS category_title,ua.name AS author_name FROM jos_content AS a LEFT JOIN `jos_languages` AS l ON l.lang_code = a.language LEFT JOIN jos_users AS uc ON uc.id=a.checked_out LEFT JOIN jos_viewlevels AS ag ON ag.id = a.access LEFT JOIN jos_categories AS c ON c.id = a.catid LEFT JOIN jos_users AS ua ON ua.id = a.created_by ORDER BY a.hits DESC LIMIT 0, 5

I have limited access to other areas of the admin section, and my site itself starts acting as though the database is gone. The site shows up but all dynamic content displays a SQL error similar to the one above. I also get random messages saying The RokSprocket Module needs the RokSprocket Component enabled. This is followed by a very long SQL error.

Any idea what is going on? This is driving me crazy. I have my host roll back a day and everything works for a little while, then it all falls apart again when I try to get into Admin and add content.

At this point my only idea is to go somewhere else and buy a completely new template and start over. Hopefully someone has a better idea than that. Thanks.
