Remove margin / padding from mainbody

Hello
Through the "module variations" tutorial I've managed to understand how to add a specific module class suffix such as "noblock" to remove the module block.....
How do I do this for the mainbody? I've articles in the mainbody and I'd like to in some cases remove the margin/padding and in most cases remove the block (some people seem to refer to this as chrome!)....
