Remove article title from breadcrumb

Hi!
I was wondering if there was anyway to remove the title of an article out of the breadcrumb.
I explain
I have an article entitled
South Africa's Schools: How The State Fails Victims of Sexual Abuse
The 'breadcrumb link' is
Home - Children - Africa - South Africa - South Africa's Schools: How The State Fails Victims of Sexual Abuse
Which is horrendous!
What I would like people to see is
Home - Children - Africa - South Africa
But the only way I can find to do this is to remove the showLast section in mod-breadcrumbs.php
However if I do this it of course always removes the last item of all Breadcrumbs links
So when I am on the Category Blog Page
Home - Children - Africa - South Africa
It will cut the 'South Africa' because it is the last item in the breadcrumb
Any thoughts or help appreciated - My wife and I design, build and maintain websites - for non-profit organisations, therapists, artists, local community groups and small businesses.

Hi Igor
I was about to give a 'cocky' reply when I thought I would just check! Yep the breadcrumbs module is outside the template structure!
So you are right this is not the correct place to have posted this question!
But one can always try!
To be honest I spent quite some time seeing if I could find an answer elsewhere and late last night thought to myself - ah well you never know RT might have an idea.
But I guess its a bit like you writing to our admin dept and asking a question about animal welfare!

Yes, breadcrumbs module is Joomla core module and your analogy about asking your support seems right
