Slow download speed and slow forum...

Hello all..
I am new to this club, so first of all, hello and thanks for providing some lovely templates and a nice forum.
I am curious about the speed in the download section, I can only pick up files with a speed around 10-50kb/s and that's with a 2mbit connection, on most sites I download with 200-240kb/s.
The forum and site seems a little sluggish as well..
A common issue with this site?

its not a common problem that i suffer from. i have a 10mb connection and when i start to download i gvet 120kb/s but it does slow down to about 70 about half way through ... the forum however seems fine - www.c3p0.se - sweden

- I'm sure it's something inbetween you and the server as my connection is very fast. When i download files i easily get 650k/sec and that's the max of my dsl line.

- it could be a scandinavian thing. i'm in sweden and i'm guessing that Nielsen is a scandinavian name also ...

Yeah could be - I'm from Denmark
But it seems to be fixed though as I download and view the forum with normal speed again..
