    Carbonation = Kwick menu on 2 lines/rows ! :-(

    • Dear Sirs,

      I meet a big problem, the free module Kwick menu ( www.templateplazza.com ) is displayed on two lines/rows in FireFox, works fine on IE7.
      130 px larger,
      300 px full,
      100 px of high,
      4 px for spacers.

      In fact I meet the same problem if a try to reduce items size.
      Same problem with :

      50 px per item.
      100 px per full items.
      50 px of high.

      Some data :

      I want to use Kwick menu in the "Footer" position, just under a banner that is in the same position ("Footer".).
      My banner very well fit my template and is 860 px of width.
      So I decided to fix my menu information as following.
      "widthmenu" : 140 => 140*6=840
      "separator_width" : 4 => 5*4=20
      840+20=860

      It seems that I managed to solve the display problem that I met in FireFox after that I replaced :

      "$widthmenuall = $widthmenu * 6 + 25;"

      By :

      "$widthmenuall = $widthmenu * 7 + 25;".

      Of course I now understand that it should stand for a 7 items menu, but the 2 lines/rows menu problem disappeared.

      It should be OK but no, another problem appeared :

      Display is still OK in IE (even if "7" let a space for another item) but still not in FF, it seems that my menu goes from about 20px right from the left border. The end of the menu is outside from the template container.
      Have you got a way to solve this without making a new problem in IE ?

      Could you give me a solution ?

      My website is not online since I still working on it.

      I search in the forum and find another user who meet the same problem, but there is not any answer.

      Best Regards,

      Harold.

    • Have you tried asking the people who made the menu?
    • Say no to Internet Explorer 6.
