what is the best way to create a site map for my website

I use Xmap. You publish it by adding a new menu item with "Xmap HTML Site map" as the type.
To supply a site map for Google, you don't have to make the map visible to visitors. The component supplies information for you to submit to Google.

Hi Tylor,
by saing that you dont have to make the map visible to the visitors you means that the menu item can be unpublished?
One more question I have a 3 language site with 3 language menus. I have to put an unpublished sitemap for each menu?

- I don't think you even have to create a menu item. If you've installed Xmap, all you have to do is go to Components-->Xmap and click the Xml Sitemap link. Copy the URL from the resulting page to use in your submission to Google. I've never used multiple languages, so I have no clue about that.
