Hey guys,
i'm currently running a website for a gaming community. (dragon nest)
and i'm getting visitors from Europe & US, sometimes even from the South East Asia region.
my website is currently being hosted by wpwebhost,
which I think is pretty slow & my website tends to go offline alot.. 99,9% uptime is pretty much bs.
IF there is anyone who can recommend me a good host which isn't overpriced please let me know.
currently i'm paying $26.85 USD quarterly, and I don't mind paying 40~50 euro a month.
Also what is the difference between normal hosting & VPS O.o ?

- I believe that you have enough budget for VPS or even dedicated server so you can go with that. VPS means that you are using part of physical server but virtual so physical server is split in multiple parts, each one acting as real server. Dedicated server is just that, your own server just fr you to use it's full resources. If you check on google you will find a lot of recourses and tutorials which explains the differences between shared hosting (which you are using right now), VPS and dedicated servers

oh wow that explains alot.
so currently im using a few joomla plugins that "should" increase my website speed.
i have absolutely no idea where my host is located.
apparantly i'm using cDN networking atm, but it still feels slow to me.
so a good VPS should do the trick right?

- Good VPS should do the trick but only to some extent. If you have really busy site than you should consider dedicated server
