User based driven template of the month

Would anyone be interested in providing feedback for a user driven template? I was thinking that those interested in putting together our ideas of what we would like the template to accomplish could get in on it. Basically, since it would be user driven, assuming RT would give the thumbs up--that they would do it within reason, that the interested users providing feedback could all pitch in some extra money for a template that is customized for our needs.
Maybe I have too much time on my hands. But, I would put in 50 or so bucks to get an official post going for a future template based exclusively on our input (those paying to get the template made.)
The template I want to create (typography, module positions, etc.) is specifically geared for ecommerce and customer retention/relation. Anyway, I could be way off base but if you look at the heavy ecommerce sites you can start to note some commonalities.
I don't want to rebuild the wheel. Just make an RT template that is geared for it and I am suuuure there are others with great input. On the other hand, I understand if RT wouldn't go for this. It would be no hard feelings.
