  • SOLVED Post Submissions Should Default to "Notify me..."

    • I can't count how many times that I've posted a question and wondered why no one ever replies. Then I discover weeks or months later that they did. I had forgotten to check the box, "Notify me when a reply is posted" so I had no clue. Other forums I use assume I want to be be notified and they default my post to be notified of reply. Any chance the Rocket Forum could change accordingly? I often see admins here frustrated that posters don't get back to them so maybe I'm not the only one that forgets to check the box! (ok, I'm checking the box now...)

    • Thank you Igor! I just got your reply and changed my settings pronto.

      My preference is that "Notify me upon replies by default" should be on by default when someone creates an account. Most, but not all, forums I participate in have that as the default setting and I can't think of a one that I ever turned off. It goes to reason that if you post something that you want to hear back as soon as possible. That's just my opinion though.
