Video Background not working

I installed the Lumiere theme and the video background worked great. However as I began to make modifications the video background is no longer playing.
I checked the template section and see two entries:
rt_lumiere - Default / Master
rt_lumiere - Home / Override
Both of them have video background enabled, and I've even tried enabling it only on the override for the home page. Doesn't seem like anything I do makes the video play.
So what am I doing wrong? Any tips or settings I can look at? Is there a way to reload the default settings?

Did you ever try using your own image for the background. I can't get that to work to save my wife.
I put in an image and it just ignores it, with clearing cache and all that.
I tried adding the image to the same folder as the stock images and as the same type (jpg) no luck either.
I'm about to simply replace one of the stock one s and cuss about it every update.
