Can we avoid TimThumb for Showcase?

  • Can we avoid TimThumb for Showcase?

    • We are getting a high CPU usage warning on our site - TopiaInn.com - probably as a result of the timthumb.php resizing the thumbs on our home page showcase. These images do not change often, and we might be able to just load them in at the correct size if we could figure out how to get the showcase to reference them rather than trying to make a thumbnail each time. Can someone help us figure this out? We are using the refraction theme with latest WP at GreenGeeks host.

    • As far as i remember we dropped timthumb in favor of phpthumb so i guess you need to update your theme.

    • I forgot to add that TimThumb might be a security issue so you better update as soon as you can.
