    Adding a custom font to a Joomla 3x / Gantry template

    Posted 11 years 8 months ago
    • I'm having some issues installing a custom font on my 'Leviathan' Joomla 3.x template.

      The font is named 'Air Factory Bold' and is not a free font, so not listed in Google fonts etc.

      I followed the EXACT directions listed here;
      www.gantry-framework.org/documentation/j...rials/custom_font.md

      I manage to get the font into the Gantry settings (template manager) dropdown in the backend but it fails to show on the front end. See the article headings on this page for an example;
      tinyurl.com/kx5hqcw

      I was wondering if anyone else was having the issue of installing a custom code on a Gantry based template in Joomla 3x and how you went about resolving it?

      Thanks in advance, Reuben

      Please PM FTP logon, password and FTP URL.

      Regards, Mark.

    • ok
      1. your custom css file was name leviathan-custom.css instead of rt_leviathan-custom.css
      2. the XML file was incorrectly set-up
      3. the CSS content was wrong (referring to bloody font)
      4. the font was not selected in template manager

      apart from that it was great... :D

      I fixed everything and it appears to be working now.

      Regards, Mark.
