Ximenia Mosaics not working with tags

Hi,
My mosaics will not filter by tags when I create these and the application hangs. When I tried this on the curelean template it works ok but on the Joomla 2.5.11 on Ximenia it's not working.
When i select title or random then the mosaics seems to be OK but when I select a tags it does not select it and just hangs.
Are there any ideas to why this is the case? I don't have this published but can do if needed.
