    • I am Developing a Site in Joomla and would like to know how to allow a User that is registering on the Website to able to select which Group they belong to, i.e. (dealer, customer, etc), I have the code so that they can select which Group, but it doesn't put them in that group. Thank You!!

    • Hi there,

      Personally I would use something like Community Builder and if it is for protecting content then I have found that CB Subs (plugin for Community Builder) is very good. CB is free but CB Subs is a paid for plugin. CB Subs puts people into the user groups they are registered to.

      I trust you have set up the required groups in Joomla? If not then you need to check the Joomla documentation.
