Problem with resolution

Hello,
i´ve just finish the website with Metropolis Template with the last version of gantry. I did it in a screen with high resolution.
When i visit the website in mozilla in a big screen everything is ok, but when i visit it from a tablet or from a pc with a lower resolution images seems bigger. what can i do?
I´m using joomla 2.5.9.
