Sorry my english is bad! is there a german mod?
my questions:
i bought and used a 1.5 joomla theme including some module and stuff
then i forget about it - till i now read about serious safety issues
i now know that i have to update to final 1.6 - then migrate to 2.5 and then update again
i tried this with an old but workink xampp version, ackeeba and the migration with jUpgrade
now i dont have any rocket modules and no working theme!
i have a blank 2.5 joomla and nothing is working cause no rocket stuff is installed
Question1
- Are the "internet" tutorials for updating a theme working with the rocket theme paradox?
- do i need new gantry and rocketmodules? where and how do i get them?
if you say that wont work - if i BUY new stuff and update by new paradox 2.5
is the website automatically how it was before (kickstarting the old akeeba backup?)

- and with reinstalling the template i get ib back as it was without any manual coding?

You definitely need the new extension versions and the new template versions in order to run them on Joomla 2.5.
As far as updating, you can migrate over to 2.5 or 3.1.5 directly from Joomla 1.5 with some of the extensions out there.
I've used this extension and it was very helpful: http://cyend.com/extensions/extensions/components/5-upgrade-joomla-from-15-to-16
There will be some configuration settings to check and some tweaking to do in order to get things running on the new system. There is no simple upgrade path from 1.5 to the next versions unfortunately.
