Extensions in extensions.joomla.org I'm not convinced. I found a site that has code to copy and paste free and looks very good: silktide.com/cookieconsent and my resulting code is:

Thanks, but I'm not sure where I am pasting the code, because it blocks my site menu and home slideshow.
I am pasting in the /template/mytemplate/index.php but I not see the head, the file is empty.
