I wish to use a Rok Candy macro in module and article titles to turn them into hyperlinks. That is the easy part.
The problem is that some hyperlinks are so long that the titles become longer than the 100 characters allowed. I have played around with the database and changed the title length in the database by phpAdmin to 150 characters. I can paste directly into the database table the long title including the macro and it works fine!
I cannot, though, get the module title text box in Joomla 3 to accept more than 100 characters. Therefore somewhere there is a controlling table or file which overrides my 150 characters and is keeping the original 100.
Where do I find this table or file so that I can edit it to allow long titles in modules so that I can use the macro to make titles into hyperlinks. Going to the raw database is not really a practical option in the long run.
I'm sure someone out there knows just what to do - there always is in this great community!
