    Change Hyperlink Colour In Joomla.

    • Hello! I am a relative newbie to this stuff. I want to change the colour of a hyperlink - site wide -
      Is this something that is done in the template configuration or is it something done with one of the other files of joomla accessed via ftp.

      I've been struggling with this for a long time now and there does not seem to be any answers on google.

      Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

      Really? What on earth are you searching for? ;)

      Just edit the main template_css.css file and change the entries for:
      a {
color: #ff0000;
}

      or sometimes...
      a:link,
a:visited {
color: #ff0000;
}

      I've been using search terms like this "change hyperlink colour joomla" and it just comes up with forum stuff. I tried to find some help on joomla.com as well, no luck.

      Really appreciate your help though!

    • Found it in colour variation .css in the end. Love learing new things. I think I need to learn some CSS basics!

    • Whilst playing around with the equinox template I have found that I can get the hyperlink of text colour fine. BUT if I hyperlink an image I get this horrid colour. #810081

      Is there a different place to look to change the colour used when adding a hyperlink to an image.... I've gone through the template_css.css and style5.css

      Once again sorry to be so simple.

    • I'm still hunting around for a solution but not getting very far.. the frustraiting thing is knowing that its going to be a really simple edit of text, its just knowing how and where to find it!
