They're not currently compatible, but being worked on so expecting it soon.
My personal preference is to wait a little while before upgrading to a new big version with Magento. There is almost always a point 1 version released a little while after fixing a few bugs. If not, you still get to see what issues others may have had when upgrading and can plan for it a little better.
