SOLVED Font Awesome icons display only in IE correctly

Somewhere around October 18 my browsers (Firefox, Chrome and Opera) suddenly stopped displaying the Font Awesome icons correctly. The only exception is IE. I at first thought it was because I upgraded my OS to Windows 8.1, but I notice that it is the same on other OS's as well (Vista, for instance, and on my Android tablet).
In IE it looks as it should:This image is hidden for guests.

I do not have all the RocketTheme templates installed, but on the templates I do have, Ximenia is the latest template to display the printer and other icons and arrows correctly. From the Graffito template onwards the icons does not display, except in IE.
I have Gantry v4.1.17 installed.

It looks like your server is not configured to properly serve newer web font formats. You may need to add mime-types for .woff fonts.
I'm not familiar with Windows server environment, but a quick Google search revealed this:

I don't think the server that hosts my site is a Windows server. The system information says: Linux server.host-e.net 2.6.32-131.17.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Oct 6 19:24:09 BST 2011 x86_64
As I noted in my first post, this problem arose only three of four days ago. Till then everything was fine, although I noticed this problem some of the time on Chrome, but never on Firefox. Now, all of a sudden, only IE works correctly.
But I'll talk to my web host and ask his advice. Perhaps there was some change in their settings.

Hi Popovici
It seems to me you were right. My host-master added the following to my .htaccess file: "AddType application/x-font-woff woff", and now the problem is solved.
