    • What is going on with the RT demo pages? Over the last 2 releases, I get this error with IE10 in Windows 8 on the desktop and in the new tile interface.

    • I think you'll find that you have your IE10 in "compatibility mode" which amounts to IE7 (which we don't support) - hence error message.

      That was it.

      Solution: Click on the torn piece of paper in the address bar to turn off Compatibility View for a given website. You'll have to do it again if you delete your browsing history. Supposedly Windows 8.1 will have a better universal control.
