    • MarioMari - I'm sure we've discussed this before? The CSS styling included is designed only to affect certain tags - therefore if you wish to apply this styling to other tags than we have catered for you will have to right custom CSS and replicate that styling.

Could you please post a URL to your site so we can look for you. Without a link to page where the problem is on your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.

Please give a specific example of what styling you wish to apply to which element of the page and I will try to assist you. Please do a screengrab of your problem and annotate to make it clear.

Also, please don't post template/extension specific questions in "general discussion" - as soon as I know what template that you are using I will move this post to the appropriate forum.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Hi Mark!
Yes, you were so kind to talk on a similar topic in another thread that is already closed.

I'm not asking for advice to a specific page. I want to learn the technique applicable Notice Styles to other styles of tags.

How apply a notice styles to <div>, <span>, <ul> without replication? Replication styles is not a good way, then it's difficult that it manages.

      Regards.

    • Ok, let me try explaining this again...

The notice styles are only designed to be used on P tags or TR tags. If you look at the CSS in the screengrab attached you will see that it has been written as (for example) p.success or tr.success therefore using any other tag with .success will not work because there is no generic .success CSS statement included with the template.

Therefore, if you want to use .success on any other tag then you have to write the CSS to create the styling for that particular tag, so if you want to use a DIV tag with a class of .success then you will have to write some CSS that has a selector of div.success {yourstatementsgohere}. There is no inheritance rule that you can apply to be able to do this.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Thank you Mark for your patience.
I understand what you wrote, and it is consistent to the article that you told me, and which I wrote in my first post.

I understand that there is no choice but to create a new style to the template that will duplicate the styles of notice under a different name to uses in other tags.

This is different than it was in the old template RT - by me worse. I used to be able to use these styles and maintain consistency, and that in the case of changes to make them in one place, now working with the template you should start by creating duplicates of these podstaowych styles and still be managed separately for style changes notice.

      To me great harm.

      I understand that about exhausted.
The only way to use styles only notice the mirror and separate management?
If yes, please close the topic.
      Regards!

    • To answer your question - yes that is the best way for now - custom CSS.

But, I have past your comment onto the developers of the template. They will see if they can alter the CSS to drop the html tag qualification in future templates (I doubt they will retrospectively apply this to existing templates though).

      Regards, Mark.
