{SOLVED} Refresh/View Live Site

  • {SOLVED} Refresh/View Live Site

Posted 11 years 6 months ago
    • Anytime I make CSS or Image changes locally and then upload them to my server, I always have trouble viewing the updates I've made. Sometimes Firefox gives me no issues, Safari makes me delete all cookies...I'm just wondering if there is a trick or secret or obvious method I'm missing. Any one have any ideas?

    • Hi there,

Golden rule number one - clear joomla cache and then browser cache. 9/10 that is good enough. Some templates also leave a cookie if you have things like colour selection etc.

During design stages leave all caching off and SEF off. That way you can work out what breaks the site as you enable each element. :cheesy:

      Hope this helps 8)
