  • Responsive Layout Toggle On Mobile Device

    • Hello All,

      We have a quick question hopefully someone has a solution for. We love the responsive layouts but we have several customers who want the ability to toggle the responsive layout on or off in a mobile device. I know on some of the older templates that had a mobile version it had a button at the bottom to view the site in full screen mode. Does anything like this currently exist on the responsive layouts? Would it be possible to add a menu item using the "hidden-large" tag to only show on mobile that would switch to the 1200 or 960 version and retain that during the session?

      I have my programming team on stand by who would be willing to develop something like this if its not already done. Any input from the community here would be appreciated, just keep in mind that we don't want to remove the responsiveness and media queries just have the ability to toggle it to a fixed with from the forward facing site.

    • That did the trick! I created a menu item (external link) to /index.php/index.php?layout-mode=1200fixed

      Now we have a menu option to set the site to a fixed width on mobile devices like we need.
