    • I have been a member for a couple years now, off and on..more on than off.
      I appreciate the incredible work done here at Rocket Themes. You guys make Joomla worth using. Really.

      I have noticed however that the designs have become very blocky. Big blocks on top of big blocks with a side of big blocks..aaand a dark footer. Maybe this is a factor of Bootstrap and Gantry. I dont know. What I do know is that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find designs which fit my clientel who are primarily small businesse, non-profits, mom and pops shops and the like.

      I hope this is received as it is intended. Not as a nasty kick from a whiner, but as a real concern from a long time customer.

    • I agree... don't care much for the blocky designs lately. I think it's in keeping up with the latest trends of flat design and looking more like a web app than a website. Personally, I think a website should look like a website.

    • I was discussing a similar matter with another member, where I suggested the home page in the demos and, thus, the launcher, are really meant more as a showcase of built-in features. The inner pages, such as Services and About Us seem to be more suitable for any practical use.
