SolarSentinel for J 3?

Hi
I am a big fan of SolarSentinel http://www.rockettheme.com/joomla-templates/solarsentinel
My J1.5 site runs on it. We are in the process of upgrading the site to Joomla 3.2. Is there a version of SolarSentinel for Joomla 3 or is any plan to release the upgrade?
If not, can anyone help me by suggesting a similar template for news / megazine website?

. There is no version for J3.x presently - it is planned but it could be a long time before we get around to it - there are many other that have to be converted first.
