Hi, I have some very good experiences with Rockettheme and now I need to build a webshop like
www.bax-shop.nl/
. My questions are if it is possible to use a template of yours, is it simple to integrate and which template would you advise me if you compare it to the link (bax-shop)? Thanks, Jurgen
Halcyon uses rokecwid. But you can use any of the many "shop" extensions with any of our templates. Like hikashop, virtuemart, mijoshop etc etc.
As this is a question rather than "request" I will move this thread to "general discussion".

That's a pretty big store that you linked to. If you're looking to have that many products and/or are running a good bit of sales, you really might should look at Magento and our Magento themes. Its more on configuration that a Joomla site, but it is a much better shopping cart...especially for larger stores.
Ah yes Ben is right (cut me in half and I say JOOMLA all the way through) .

I used the Joomla Paradigm-theme for creating my website for a musicshop a while ago. Now I want to create a webshop.
I have read that Magento is a nice solution for doing that. Is it possible to combine the Joomla-site with the same Paradigm-theme for Magento? Is there a language-package for Magento in dutch and other languages and a funcionality for the customers to switch the language on the webshop?
Would it be better and easier to use a Joomla webshop-extension for setting up the shop?
Is it hard to integrate online payment systems?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Kind regards, Stef
Really it depends how many products you have that you want to sell. Magento is good for the bigger shops. But if you already familiar with joomla then I'd stick with one of the shop extensions that you can add to what you already have. Those shop extensions I mentioned in my other posts all have payment system built into them (linking to the payment gateways) and it's usually just a case of filling in a few settings to be up and running quite quickly.
