how to get banner module images to be responsive

I am currently using the banner module and roksprocket module and noticed the images are not responsive as the template is responsive
Is there a code or area that I need to add code in banner or module itself to make this work?
In my articles I am using the image / rt tag.

I am currently using the default banner module that comes in template voxel responsive rocketlauncher temlate with 3.0 Joomla
works fine, but problem is there is no option to add the rtimage code for the image of the banner to be repsonsive, the image has to be added as a link in banner component area.
In the module there is not an area via code area to edit the code and add the image or the images reapsonive code. Do you have any solution for this?

I don't currently have the module set to banner so link would not help you.
I just need to know the banner competent that currently is in install of template, it requires you to add the banner image in media manager and provide the link from media manager, there is not an area to add the image=rt so that the banner image is responsive not in the banner competent or in the module options, unless I am missing something, if you could please find out and let me know.
I did some research and found banners for responsive in Joomla area outside of template not sure if that is what has to be done but if the template comes fully responsive I would have though the banner compnenent would be as well.

After almost two years (!) I post this code that seems to work on my VOXEL-RESPONSIVE template:
.banneritem img { max-width: 100%; height:auto; }
Just insert the code in the rt_template_name-custom.css file.
