Modules do not show on "K2 item" menu items

Hello everyone,
I have a strange problem: I use K2 for article management. One of my Menu Items is of type "K2 item" (which displays a specific article - meaning that this article now has a corresponding menu item for itself).
But when i create a new module (custom or other type) and assign it to ALL pages, then the module is displayed on all pages EXCEPT the one that is "K2 item" type page !!
Do you know what am I missing here?

OK...
Maybe no one faced before the issue...
Nevertheless, I post here a work around to the above problem:
WORKAROUND:
- Create a null category in K2 (no cat titles, no images, no sub-cat info, #items=0, etc)
- Create the problematic menu item as "K2 Categories" type ( ->nothing at all will be displayed)
- Assign the modules you want to be displayed on that specific page
But, I would like a more "clear" & straight-forward solution...
