losing login facility on mobile

  • losing login facility on mobile

    Posted 11 years 4 months ago
    • I have recently updated a site, www.dartsailability.org based on the rt_cerulean template.. It is still in development but when I access it via a windows smartphone it loses the login facility.I could add a link to a menu and access it that way but would prefer if it can appear immediately. Any suggestions? Many thanks, David

    • You can create a file using a simple text editor for custom css and name it using this format: templatefolder-custom.css (e.g., rt_cerulean-custom.css). For this issue add this to the custom CSS file
      body .horizontal-login {display: block;}

    • Hi cdavis, thought I'd replied before but must have got lost! Many thanks for your css and incorporating it has solved the login issue. However when I log in from a mobile the editor starts up in 'source mode' and I seem unable to change it back, any ideas? I'm using the JCK editor. Many thanks, David

    • Hi Joe, Yes, on my own desktop everything is as expected. It's a windows 8 smartphone that is giving the problem. Thanks for your time. David
