Applying Multiple Templates To My Site

  • Applying Multiple Templates To My Site

    • I have an authority site with a lot of content and extensions. I also am running Joomla 2.15.17 on the Voxel template. I am looking to add a squeeze page to my site, however, I do not want the menu or banner to be showing like it does on the rest of the site. I am running a PPC campaign to build a list, so I did not want any distractions on this squeeze page. What I initially did was create a new menu and assigned an article to that menu item titled Landing Page. I then downloaded a blank template from OrdaSoft and assigned that template to the Landing Page menu item. However, when I went to that page, it displayed as a normal article page on the site with the menu and banner showing.

In regards to some of the extensions I am running, I have quite a few but here are the main ones. Maybe there is an extension that is causing the issue with the template assignments:

-Rocket Theme extensions (roknavmenu, rokfeaturetable, roktabs, roksprocket, rokminievents, rokgallery)
      -Advanced module manager
      -EasyBlogs
      -Sh404sef
      -OS Memberships

Any solutions to this issue, or even another idea in regards to creating a landing page on my site with essentially no theme, so it is only the squeeze page content? I thought about creating a subdomain, such as landingpage.mysite.com, but I am not sure if that is a feasible solution either

Thanks in advance for your help.

    • Hi Clint,

I am guessing that were once a member to buy the template but now that your membership has expired you can no longer post in the Voxel forum so you thought it might be a good idea to post in the public area hoping for support.

Biggest culprit in cases like this is people not knowing how to use AMM properly, usually with partial urls assigned.

As stated in our Terms of Service, support is provided via the template forums. The amount of advice you are asking for is beyond our normal levels of support. You could always use the Marketplace board to see if any other developers would take on this work for you.

      Hope this helps 8)
