migrating from 1.5 temp to 2.5 help

I have 6 rocket theme 1.5 sites to move to 2.5. Can I use a migration tool like Migrate Me or is there a better one. All of the sites I am doing have a 2.5 version. Is there any steps that will make it an easy move from a 1.5 to a 2.5 template? Need help please :shock:

I have liked this extension for migrating to the new versions:

As for advice, I'd say move over core stuff first, then after that's done, install the new template and re-customize. You'll also want to remember to pull over any media or images files you have loaded in articles.
I say "re-customize" because this is a good opportunity to get rid of any unnecessary code and to add any new items you want.
